Canada's PM Carney: important for Canada to strengthen ties with "reliable allies"

PARIS, March 17 (Reuters) - Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney, making his first overseas visit, said on Monday that it was important for Canada to strengthen ties with "reliable allies".

Carney was speaking ahead of a working lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron, at a time of trade frictions with U.S. President Donald Trump.
