LA MALBAIE, Canada, March 14 (Reuters) - G7 foreign ministers on Friday condemned the killing of civilians in Syria's coastal areas and demanded the perpetrators be held accountable, according to a draft final statement seen by Reuters.
"They condemned strongly the recent escalation of violence in the coastal regions of Syria, and called for the protection of civilians and for perpetrators of atrocities to be held accountable," the statement, which still needs approval from ministers, said.
