BERLIN, March 5 (Reuters) - Germany's far-right AfD party said it reserves the right to take legal action after the conservatives and their prospective coalition partners from the centre-left SPD unveiled plans to allow hundreds of billions of euros of extra spending for defence and infrastructure investments.
"We are (...) currently undertaking a preliminary legal review and reserve the right to take legal action", senior lawmaker Bernd Baumann told Reuters on Wednesday, adding there was no need for haste.
"It is out of the question, especially for projects of such gigantic dimensions", Baumann said.
