BERLIN, March 4 (Reuters) - Europe will respond in a united and resolute way if U.S. President Donald Trump imposes tariffs on EU products, Germany's economy minister said on Tuesday after levies of 25% from the U.S. took effect on imports from Mexico and Canada.
"Germany supports the EU Commission's approach of working with the U.S. government to find a negotiated solution. But the EU will not be pushed around. If President Trump imposes the announced tariffs on EU products, we will react with unity and self-confidence," said Robert Habeck in a statement.
