Apollo Syndicate Management appoints Littlemore independent non-executive director

March 3 - (The Insurer) - Lloyd’s insurer Apollo has appointed Rob Littlemore as an independent non-executive director for Apollo Syndicate Management Limited.
Apollo said Littlemore would focus on the delivery of its strategy and growth objectives in the coming years.
Littlemore has more than 35 years of (re)insurance industry experience, including as chief executive of XL Catlin Reinsurance London and head of Catlin’s London reinsurance group.
He has also held senior roles at Chaucer, Faraday and Wellington Syndicates, and served a Lloyd’s Market Association board member.
Littlemore currently serves as a non-executive director at Lockton Re International LLP and as chairman of Lockton Re’s audit, risk and compliance committee.
Apollo in February appointed Ciara Sheikh as interim executive underwriter for cargo.
