Czech government to discuss increasing defence budget, PM says

PRAGUE, March 2 (Reuters) - Czech government ministers will discuss in the near future increases to defence spending, Prime Minister Petr Fiala said on Sunday after meeting European leaders in London to discuss a peace plan for Ukraine.
"We are all aware of the seriousness of the situation, now we need to move from words to actions," said Fiala, who has previously said Czech defence spending should rise to 3% of gross domestic product in several years from around 2% in 2024.
