FMC Corp sees business hit from U.S.-China trade war

ReutersFeb 28, 2025 7:53 PM

- Agrichemicals firm FMC Corp FMC.N said on Friday that the ongoing U.S.-China trade tariffs standoff could have an adverse impact on its business, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Earlier in February, U.S. President Donald Trump imposed a 10% tariff on imports from China, which is the largest supplier of critical intermediates and finished products for FMC.

The reciprocal tariffs imposed by China on specific U.S. imports have also intensified the ongoing trade uncertainties.

FMC said that any inability to obtain raw materials or execute contract manufacturing arrangements could negatively affect its production and result in operational disruption.
