BEIJING, Feb 28 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's remarks suggesting China may be flooding the U.S. with fentanyl are filled with "Cold War mentality", the Chinese foreign ministry said on Friday.
China expresses strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to Rubio's comments, ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said at a regular press conference.
"The U.S. keeps coercing and threatening China, which will only backfire on itself," Lin said.
