UK PM Starmer: Defence investment to maximise British jobs and growth

LONDON, Feb 25 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Tuesday that an increase in defence spending would maximise British jobs and growth, and described it as an opportunity to rebuild the country's industrial base.
Starmer also said that even though Britain would have to cut international aid to fund defence, the country would continue to play a key humanitarian role in places such as Sudan, Ukraine and Gaza.
