NEW YORK, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President Alberto Musalem said Thursday the central bank is looking at Trump administration directives and adopting them where possible.
“We at the reserve banks, and the Board, are receiving the orders” and are “reviewing the orders in real time,” Musalem said in an appearance in New York.
“In the past, the practice has been over many administrations that the Fed seeks to align with executive orders, and we're working on taking steps towards aligning, aligning with executive orders as appropriate and as consistent with applicable law,” he said, adding “we're still in that review process” and “I can't say anything further.”
