FRANKFURT, Feb 19 (Reuters) - The German foreign minister on Wednesday reiterated that Europe needs to be involved in talks over peace in Ukraine, currently held between the United States and Russia, but added that those negotiations could pave the way for future progress.
"The fact that the Americans are meeting with Russia, also in order to make their Moscow embassy fully functional again, could become useful for future talks," Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said in a statement.
