Axa XL appoints new country manager for Iberia after Torrents exits

Feb 18 - (The Insurer) - Axa XL has promoted Ana Dores to country manager for Iberia to replace Enrique López Torrents, who is leaving the company.
Dores will start in her new role on 1 March, subject to regulatory approval.
She has two decades of experience in the industry, starting out as a financial lines underwriter at AIG in Lisbon.
Since joining Axa XL in 2014 as a senior underwriter specialising in professional indemnity, Dores has taken on several roles, all located in Madrid.
In 2022, she was promoted to chief underwriting officer for international financial lines, Asia Pacific and Europe.
