SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Costa Rica will receive 200 migrants deported from the United States, beginning with a commercial flight arriving on Wednesday, the Central American country's presidential office said in a statement on Monday.
The migrants are from central Asia and India and will later move on to their countries of origin, the statement said, adding that the deportations to Costa Rica are funded by the United States and carried out with the supervision of the International Organization for Migration.
