US health secretary says he would be surprised if there were job cuts to 50% of HHS employees

WASHINGTON, Feb 13 (Reuters) - U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said on Thursday he didn't know anything about reports that 50% of employees at his department would be fired as the Trump administration aims to reduce the workforce.
"If you care about public health, you got nothing to worry about," Kennedy told Fox News during an interview.
