ZURICH, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Siemens SIEGn.DE is in a good position to deal with ongoing macroeconomic and tariff-related uncertainties, although Germany is in crisis mode as it awaits a new government, Chief Executive Roland Busch said on Thursday.
"Our strong strategic position in attractive markets – coupled with a balanced global footprint – is a solid foundation for mastering the ongoing macroeconomic uncertainties," said Busch after Siemens reported its first-quarter results.
This applied "even in the face of the current, politically motivated tariff regimes and potential countermeasures", he added.
Still, Germany - Siemens's home market - was struggling, Busch said, with "companies and society urgently awaiting clarity and action from a new government".
