US seizes Venezuelan government plane in Dominican Republic

SANTO DOMINGO, Feb 6 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday oversaw the seizure of a Venezuelan government plane that has been held by authorities in the Dominican Republic, according to a Reuters eyewitness.
It is the second Venezuelan plane that the United States has seized in recent months and comes amid uncertainty over the Trump administration's stance toward the government of Nicolas Maduro.
