Allianz Commercial promotes Bennett to head of UK large corporate and specialty claims

Feb 4 - (The Insurer) - Allianz Commercial has named Mitch Bennett as head of claims for large corporate and specialty in the UK.
The appointment is effective from 14 February.
In his new role, Bennett will be responsible for leading claims services for large corporate and specialty customers.
He will report to Phuong Ly, newly appointed managing director for Allianz Commercial in the UK, as well as chief claims officer Thomas Sepp.
Bennett joined Allianz Commercial in 2022 as head of property, entertainment, natural resources and construction claims for the UK region.
Prior to Allianz he was an associate at Plexus Law, specialising in civil defence and coverage litigation.
Commenting on the appointment, Sepp said: "Mitch brings a wealth of experience to his new role in a key market for Allianz Commercial. Claims represents the defining moment for insurance relationships.
"As a trusted and well-connected leader, he will maintain and further increase the momentum delivered to our customers by our very strong local claims team."
