HDI Global names AIG’s Godwin UK and Ireland COO

Feb 4 - (The Insurer) - HDI Global has appointed AIG's Geoff Godwin as chief operating officer for the UK and Ireland.
The industrial lines insurer said Godwin will also join its executive team. He will report to UK and Ireland CEO Stephanie Ogden.
Godwin has joined following a 16-year stint at AIG, latterly as its UK chief operating officer. He also served as senior claims officer for the UK and Ireland during his time at AIG.
Prior to AIG, Godwin spent a decade as a claims manager at Travelers.
Last month HDI Global bolstered its captive insurance offering with the appointment of AIG's Dan Sammons as captives manager.
