UN expresses concern about trade restrictions' impact on vulnerable people

UNITED NATIONS, Feb 3 (Reuters) - The United Nations is "obviously concerned about the impact that growing trade restriction measures can have on the global economy, particularly in developing countries and in places where there are vulnerable population," U.N. spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said on Monday.
In relation to a pause on U.S. foreign aid, Dujarric said "some of this is having immediate impact on life saving activities."
