
WASHINGTON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday he spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as both countries prepare to impose new tariffs on each other's imports.
Trump said he will speak with Trudeau again at 3 p.m. ET (2000 GMT). Trump cited Canadian banking regulations and drug trafficking as grounds for the U.S. tariffs in a post his Truth Social platform.
