Jan 30 - (The Insurer) - Chubb has appointed Andy Houston to lead its newly established commercial insurance division in the UK.
In his new role, which begins in February 2025, Houston will be responsible for leading and growing the new division, which will serve a range of clients across all sizes of middle-market companies.
Solutions include single products, multi-line packages, industry practices offerings and multinational capabilities.
Following the new structure, Jonathan Poole, who led Chubb's middle market business, will leave the company.
Based in London, Houston reports to Mark Roberts, division president for the UK, Ireland and South Africa (UKISA).
He has spent 17 years at Chubb, most recently as executive vice president and southwest region commercial insurance manager in North America.
Houston is succeeded in this role by Michael Wilsford, who currently serves as senior vice president and Dallas commercial insurance manager.
