Jan 30 (Reuters) - STMicroelectronics STMPA.PA, one of Europe's largest chipmakers, said on Thursday it expected sales to fall further in the first quarter of 2025, as the downturn seen in its key markets drags on into the new year.
The company, whose clients include Tesla TSLA.O and Apple AAPL.O, sees first-quarter revenue of $2.51 billion, down from the $3.47 billion it reported a year earlier.
Analysts polled by LSEG had forecast first-quarter revenue of $2.72 billion.
