Argenta bolsters construction and engineering with Axis’ Collier

Jan 28 - (The Insurer) - Argenta has appointed Axis Capital’s Karen Collier as a construction and engineering underwriter.
In her new role, Collier will report into construction and engineering unit head Phil Hancock.
Collier has joined from a near four year stint at Axis Capital, latterly as assistant underwriter.
Prior to Axis, Collier acted as claims manager at Independent Broking Solutions, assistant underwriter at Brit Insurance, and underwriting assistant at Montpelier.
Other recent Argenta hires include WR Berkley’s Sarah Reeve as senior property underwriter, with a particular focus on heavy industry and international markets.
