- (The Insurer) - Law firm DAC Beachcroft has appointed Maria Cetta as a partner within its aviation practice.

DAC Beachcroft said Cetta’s work for insurers has focused on airline and ground handler liabilities, as well as subrogated recoveries, product liability, and coverage advice.

She has also worked on major aviation loss incidents including January 2020’s Ukrainian International Airlines loss.

Cetta has joined after a near 20-year stint as a partner within Clyde & Co’s aviation liability practice.

She became a partner at Clyde & Co following the merger of the law firm with Beaumont and Son, where Cetta was a partner.

Ceta’s hire has continued growth of DAC Beachcroft’s aviation practice, which included this month’s appointments of aviation and transport experts Laura Dubois and Béatrice Fleuris as partners in its Paris office.
