Putin sends Xi condolences over deadly earthquake in Tibet, Russian agencies report

Jan 7 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin sent Chinese leader Xi Jinping a message of condolence after a deadly earthquake in Tibet, Russian news agencies cited the Kremlin as saying on Tuesday.
A magnitude 6.8 earthquake rocked the northern foothills of the Himalayas near one of Tibet's holiest cities on Tuesday, Chinese authorities said, killing at least 95 people and shaking buildings in neighbouring Nepal, Bhutan and India.
