Japan's Katayama says she met with US' Bessent, agreed to communicate on FX
WASHINGTON, April 15 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama said on Wednesday she held talks with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and agreed to communicate closely on exchange rates.
Katayama, who is visiting Washington, DC for the annual IMF meetings, made the remark on her X account.
