Mexican peso rises 1.2% after Trump agrees 2-week ceasefire with Iran

MEXICO CITY, April 7 (Reuters) - The Mexican peso gained ground in overseas trading on Tuesday afternoon after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he had agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran.

The peso MXN=, one of the world's most liquid currencies, was trading at 17.4960 per dollar, up 1.2%.
