France finance minister: Recent forex developments reflect changing fundamentals
PARIS, Jan 29 (Reuters) - French Finance minister Roland Lescure said on Thursday that recent developments in the foreign exchange markets, where the dollar hit a four year-low earlier this week, were reflecting changing policy fundamentals on both sides of the Atlantic as well in the East.
"We continue to believe that fundamentals should be the primary driver of market movements, and this is a dialogue we have regularly with our colleagues," he told journalists.
