Peru's GDP could have expanded 4% in October, cenbank economist says

- Peru's economy could have expanded by around 4% in October, the chief economist of the Andean country's central bank Adrian Armas said on Friday, noting that the economy is "performing well."

Armas highlighted the importance of tight fiscal policies in a call with journalists, which came after the central bank held its benchmark interest rate at 4.25% for the third straight meeting.
