BUDAPEST, Dec 9 (Reuters) - There was no concrete agreement between Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban and U.S. President Donald Trump on a $20 billion financial shield, Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
However, the two leaders agreed to start negotiations on a new type of financial cooperation that could offer financial protection, Szijjarto said. Earlier on Tuesday Trump denied offering a financial lifeline to Orban.
