IMF reclassifies India's FX management regime as 'crawl-like arrangement' from 'stabilised'

- The International Monetary Fund has reclassified India's "de facto" exchange rate regime as a "crawl-like arrangement", two years after it had termed the country's FX management framework as a "stabilised arrangement."

The reclassification followed an article IV review conducted by the IMF earlier in the year.
