Brazil's central bank to auction up to $1 billion with repurchase deal on Oct. 20

SAO PAULO, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Brazil's central bank will offer up to $1 billion in U.S. dollars through two auctions with repurchase agreements on October 20, the monetary authority said in a statement on Thursday.
The simultaneous auctions aim to roll over contracts maturing on November 4, and will start on Oct. 20 at 10:30 a.m. (13:30 GMT) local time, the central bank said.
