Japan, US reconfirm FX agreement, finance minister Kato says

WASHINGTON, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Katsunobu Kato said on Wednesday he reconfirmed with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent an agreement made last month on exchange-rate policy.
Kato told reporters he met with Bessent on Wednesday on the sidelines of the G7 and G20 finance leaders' meeting in Washington.
