China's actions are a complete repudiation of US-China agreements, USTR's Greer says

WASHINGTON, Oct 15 (Reuters) - U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer on Wednesday described China's major expansion of its rare earths export controls as a complete repudiation of U.S.-Chinese trade agreements over the past six months.

Greer told a news conference that China's export restrictions were a "global supply-chain power grab" and the U.S. and its allies would not accept the restrictions.
