Japan says it won't sell US Treasury holdings to influence bilateral ties
TOKYO, April 9 (Reuters) - Japan has no intention of selling its U.S. Treasury holdings for the purpose of influencing its relations with the United States, Finance Minister Katsunobu Kato said on Wednesday.
"We manage our U.S. Treasury holdings from the standpoint of preparing for in case we need to conduct exchange-rate intervention," Kato told parliament.
