NEW YORK, April 4 (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar rose against the euro and trimmed losses versus the yen on Friday, after non-farm payrolls data showed the U.S. economy added more jobs than expected in March.
Nonfarm payrolls rose by 228,000 jobs last month after a downwardly revised 117,000 rise in February, the Labor Department said.
The euro slipped 0.1% versus the dollar to $1.1038, while the greenback pared losses against the yen to trade 0.5% lower at 145.33 yen JPY=EBS.
