MEXICO CITY, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Mexico's peso weakened 2.2% against the U.S. dollar on Sunday as the currency market reopened a day after the U.S. government announced tariffs on all Mexican goods.
The peso MXN= traded at 21.15 pesos per U.S. dollar amid a low volume of trading.
The currency slid past the psychological 21 pesos per greenback level for the first time since July 2022.
