LONDON, Jan 9 (Reuters) - A minister from Britain's Treasury has been called to parliament to answer an urgent question about "the growing pressure of borrowing costs on the public finances", the House of Commons said on Thursday.
Finance minister Rachel Reeves is facing her first major test after the government's borrowing costs jumped sharply this week and the pound tumbled, potentially forcing her to cut future spending.
The parliamentary discussion is expected to begin around 1030 GMT.
