April 3 (Reuters) - Pakistan will cut petrol prices by 80 rupees ($0.29) a liter to 378 rupees, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said late on Friday.
The cuts will come from the government's petroleum levy, Sharif said.
The reduction in petrol prices comes just a day after the government hiked consumer prices for diesel and petrol, citing rising global oil prices spurred by the conflict in the Middle East.
