BANGKOK, March 12 (Reuters) - Thailand has a strategy to provide clarity to the United States if it conducts an unfair trade practice investigation, its Finance Minister said on Thursday.
Thailand has a trade surplus with the United States because many U.S. companies invest in Thailand, Ekniti Nitithanprapas told reporters. Thailand is among 16 countries the United States said would be subject to investigation under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974.
