BEIJING, Jan 15 (Reuters) - China will further diversify export markets and promote a more "balanced" development of trade, its commerce minister said, after the country posted a record trade surplus of nearly $1.2 trillion in 2025 led by booming exports to non-U.S. markets.
The country will encourage "rational and orderly" cross-border industrial development and supply chains, and relax market access in the service sector, said Commerce Minister Wang Wentao, according to a report on Thursday by state-run Xinhua news agency.
China "will also negotiate and sign trade and investment agreements with more willing countries and regions in a flexible and pragmatic manner," Wang said.
