
Jan 9 (Reuters) - Greek industrial output rose by 2.6% year-on-year in November, after a 6.4% increase in October, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Friday.
A breakdown of index components showed manufacturing production rose 7.0% from the same month in 2024. Electricity output dropped by 11.9% year-on-year, and mining production was up by 2.3%.
Compared to the same month a year earlier, in November the greatest percentage increase was recorded in the motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers division, while the highest percentage decrease was recorded in mining of coal and lignite – extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, ELSTAT said.
