
BUCHAREST, Dec 30 (Reuters) - Romania's finance ministry aims to sell domestic treasury bonds and bills worth 10 billion lei ($2.31 billion) in January, and an additional 15% worth of the issued paper through non-competitive tenders, it said on Tuesday.
The ministry has also scheduled two domestic tenders for 300 million euros, it said. The broad coalition government aims to approve a budget plan for 2026 at end-January.
Romania has sold roughly 98.6 billion lei and 1.8 billion euros at domestic tenders this year. It tapped foreign markets four times, selling 11.05 billion euros and $5 billion worth of eurobonds.
