Nov 18 (Reuters) - Home Depot HD.N topped third-quarter sales estimates on Tuesday, as robust demand from professional builders and contractors helped offset a slowdown in do-it-yourself projects.
The company posted net sales of $41.35 billion for the quarter ended November 2, a 2.8% jump from a year earlier. Analysts on average had expected a 2.2% rise to $41.10 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
