ECB's Villeroy sees 0.5% impact on France's 2025 GDP from global, domestic uncertainties

PARIS, Nov 12 (Reuters) - ECB policymaker Francois Villeroy de Galhau expects an impact of 0.5% on France's gross domestic product from global and domestic uncertainties, he told France's TF1 on Wednesday.
Villeroy, who is also the governor of the Bank of France, said uncertainty around the French budget and international trade tensions between the United States and China were among key factors.
He added that while the French economy is "fairly resilient", citizens worried about public deficits are saving a lot, which slows down growth.
