NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Raphael Bostic said Friday a December rate cut is not locked in.
When it comes to the monetary policy outlook, “I'm going to say every meeting is live, we're not on a preset course, we're going to let the information guide us,” Bostic said at a Dallas Fed conference. He said it was good that Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said after the policy meeting earlier this week that a year-end rate cut is not a lock, despite strong market expectations it would happen.
