
HOUSTON, Oct 29 - U.S. crude stocks, gasoline and distillate inventories fell last week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
Crude inventories fell by 6.86 million barrels to 416 million barrels in the week ended October 24, the EIA said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 211,000-barrel fall.
Crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma, delivery hub USOICC=ECI rose by 1.33 million barrels in the week, the EIA said.
Refinery crude runs USOICR=ECI fell by 511,000 barrels per day (bpd), the EIA said, while utilization rates USOIRU=ECI fell by 2 percentage points in the week to 86.6%.
U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI fell by 5.94 million barrels in the week to 210.7 million barrels, the EIA said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 1.9-million-barrel draw.
Distillate stockpiles USOILD=ECI, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 3.36 million barrels in the week to 112.2 million barrels, versus expectations for a 1.74 million-barrel drop, the EIA data showed.
Net U.S. crude imports USOICI=ECI fell last week by 1.03 million bpd, EIA said.
