BLS to publish September U.S. inflation report on Oct 24

WASHINGTON, Oct 10 (Reuters) - The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics will publish its inflation report for September on October 24 at 8:30 a.m. (1230 GMT), the agency said on Friday.
BLS was bringing some furloughed workers back in order to get the statistical agency's Consumer Price Index report out despite the wider shutdown of the federal government, according to media reports. It was originally scheduled for release on October 15.
