Romania aims to sell domestic debt worth 7.99 billion lei in October

- Romania's finance ministry aims to sell domestic treasury bonds and bills worth 7.99 billion lei ($1.84 billion) in October, including 990 million lei at non-competitive tenders, it said on Wednesday.

The ministry has scheduled 14 bond tenders with residual maturities ranging from 1.5 to 14.8 years and one auction for one-year treasury bills.

Romania has sold just under 77 billion lei and 1.6 billion euros worth of domestic debt so far this year, and tapped foreign markets three times, selling 7 billion euros and $5 billion worth of eurobonds.
