
BRASILIA, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Brazil's federal public debt rose 2.59% in August from the previous month to 8.145 trillion reais ($1.53 trillion), the Treasury said on Tuesday.
The Treasury also revised a main target in its Annual Financing Plan, first published in February, and now expects total debt to reach between 8.5 trillion and 8.8 trillion reais by year-end, compared with a previous forecast of 8.1 trillion to 8.5 trillion reais.
